For the second edition of its BE THE FUTURE concept Lutech intends to bring out innovations in the field of sport.
BE THE FUTURE is a competition dedicated to innovation. Initiated and organized twice a year by the SATT Lutech, the event brings together research staff (researchers, engineers, technicians), students, entrepreneurs etc. around a theme defined for the emergence of innovative projects.
Following this contest, Lutech can accompany some of the most promising projects (legal, intellectual property, project management).
Lutech connects project leaders and experts, students, industry and meets the necessary conditions to allow teams to acquire, in two days of intensive work, the first prototype / diagram of a project: there is a market, technical feasibility …
In this Olympic year, and as part of the Paris bid 2024, innovate to accompany sport the general public and improve the preparation, performance and recovery of top athletes falls under essential. It is a challenge Lutech wishes to participate.
The contest BE THE FUTURE of SPORT opens its doors to all scientific topics applicable to the sport: Textiles, materials, computer, connected objects, nutrition, media, health, environment, law, video games, mechanics, chemistry, algorithms, Aerodynamics, Production audiovisual…

• Corporate features on issues and market needs
• Presentation of scientific / technical skills applicable to the sport by research staff, scientific / creative
• Pitch of 40 to 50 project sponsors
• Public vote (entrepreneurs, researchers, industrialists, students …) teams Constitution of the 20 most attractive projects considered
1 & 02.07.2016 – Hackathon
• 2 days of team development, with the support of mentors.
• Presentation of proof of concept project (existence of a market, technical, intellectual property, etc.) to a jury of industry professionals.
September 2016 – Presentation of the winning projects
The most promising projects will benefit from support of the SATT Lutech. An investment of € 70,000 on average may be awarded to eligible winning projects (presence in the project team of research staff or student from a partner institution of Lutech: UPMC, ENSCI, CNRS, UTC, Panthéon-Assas Paris-Sorbonne, MNHN, Institut Curie) to accelerate their development.
