Three start-ups supported by SATT Lutech are now among the 13 winners of the Next French HealthCare program. Selected by BPI France and Business France, Basecamp Vascular, Imageens and Pixium Vision, will be able to take part in a series of meetings with North American manufacturers starting in the fall.

• BaseCamp Vascular has developed a robotic vascular navigation system to facilitate the treatment of Cerebral Vascular Accidents (CVA) by thrombectomy. This company, created in Paris in 2016, developed this system in partnership with Professor Jérôme Szewczyk, a researcher at the Institute of Intelligent Robotics Systems (ISIR) at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC) and the neuro- interventional radiology from the Rothschild Foundation.
• Pixium Vision develops bionic vision systems that aim to compensate for loss of deep vision and to improve the independence, mobility and quality of life of patients suffering from retinal degeneration. The vision reconstruction device was developed at the IDV (Institut de la Vision - Sorbonne University, INSERM, CNRS) by Ryad Benosman.
• Imageens has created medical image processing applications to help physicians and researchers detect and diagnose cardiovascular disease early. The technology used is software for morphological and hemodynamic analysis of the aortic function in Magnetic Resonance imaging. The software was developed in 2008 at the LIB (Laboratory of Biomedical Imaging (UMRS 1146 - Sorbonne University / INSERM) in particular by Nadja Kachenoura, PhD (laboratory researcher, Head of the Cardiovascular Imaging Team) and Anas Dogui, former doctoral student in the laboratory, now co-director of the Imageens company.
